Seeking Housing

Many families need help bridging the gap between low or moderate wages and the high cost of renting a home. The Peekskill Housing Authority (PHA) provides assistance to help families in this category obtain affordable housing. 

PUBLIC HOUSING PROGRAM

PHA owns and manages 3 public housing properties located in the City of Peekskill that provide units at affordable prices based on income.

WAITLIST

The waitlist is currently closed to new applicants, except for elderly, disabled or handicap households which can apply anytime. There is no scheduled time to reopen the waitlist as it is determined by the number of applicants already waiting. 

PHA has no waitlist preferences. Reaching the top of the waitlist depends on the number of units and when you applied. When your name reaches the top, PHA will make contact to schedule a final eligibility interview.
